When one of our wood sherpas called about some very rare Master African Blackwood sets we snatched them all up. This SCGC F model turned out absolutely perfect. The Old Growth Redwood top adds all the growl and organic earth tone with the African Blackwood projection cutting very, very crisp and clean note definition. This guitar is so very well balanced, among the very best we have in the shop right now. The Hot Hide glue and Adirondack bracing take this acoustic to another worldly level. Watch out for Dropped D or DADGAD tunings as this bear will not only growl, but bite too. Great for picking, wonderful for finger style playing with all the headroom as a spruce top. The tight waist make this SCGC F so very comfortable to play. This one is a personal favorite!

OK, what can I say about a top notch guitar and one of the VERY best that has arrived from the craft factory of Dana Bourgeois. When we were offered the upgraded top tier Master Brazilian Rosewood and the super select luthiers choice Bear Claw Italian Spruce top we jumped at it. It cost a bit more than usual, but it was so, so worth it. Especially now that we can play this winner the tone absolutely speaks for itself. The VARNISH finish puts this OM into the  acoustic vibe of vintage guitars from 90 years ago. Absolutely awesome. The finest we’ve heard from Dana’s OM models. Of course this acoustic phenomenon was deserving of Hot Hide Glue and Adirondack bracing. Spiffed up with Flamed Koa Bindings on the Body, Neck & Headstock.
