Acoustic Guitars are our passion…

In the early 1970’s I purchased my first acoustic guitar.  It was from a variety store called Treasure Island.  They also sold the coolest little green turtles, but their acoustic guitar selection was great so the turtle had to wait. Anyway, I thought the woodwork and curves on the guitar were the best! The rosette inlay circling the sound-hole had the neatest design. The aroma of the wood was so unique and pleasant, the tone was buttery smooth and practicing and playing that gem was the best.  A very relaxing, calming and content experience.

To own a fine handcrafted acoustic guitar, hold it and simply admire the beauty and aroma of master grade woods is one of life’s great joys.  But to put your fingers to the strings and hear and feel the rich, lush, warm tones that resonate from within brings a sense of contentment that is … well, almost indescribable.

I’m not exaggerating when I say that every time we add another exceptional acoustic guitar to the showcase, I can’t help but wonder who the lucky customer will be, where the guitar will end up and what kind of life is in store for it.

We know acoustic guitars.  How they’re made, the various woods, glues, bracings, neck joints and even the preferred finishes. Every guitar builder has their own way of doing things.  That’s part of the mystique to a handmade acoustic guitar and it contributes to the distinctive sound from one guitar builder to the next.
